The Luopan uses magnetic north

The direction shown on the Compass screen uses magnetic north. Read the value on the Luopan as it is when you measure the home's facing direction.

Architectural floor plans usually show true north. The difference between true and magnetic north is called declination, and the app corrects it during floor plan setup.
