Use the more open side of the home

Do not choose the entrance or balcony automatically. Use the side with more outside air, view, daylight and openness.

Houses are often measured from the entrance and apartments from the balcony. But the entrance may face an open road or park, while a balcony may be blocked by the neighboring building. Judge the home in front of you.

  • Roads, parks or open land in front
  • Large or full-height windows
  • Good daylight and airflow
